So today is March 19, 2012 -- the day that Adobe officially celebrates Illustrator's 25th Anniversary. I wanted to commemorate this special day and was thinking about those wonderful years when I worked with the wonderfully talented people at Adobe on the Illustrator team.
As you might expect, working on the Illustrator team was an incredibly rewarding experience. By far, the best part was working with the overall team. We had a lot of fun back then, and I dug up a video that Ted Alspach and I put together -- sort of a parody of those late-night commercials that sell a collection of songs on a set of CDs. I hope you enjoy the parody, and more importantly, I hope you appreciate 25 years of Adobe passion, ingenuity, and innovation that we lovingly refer to as Adobe Illustrator.

I can't help but wonder how long this video took to put together using the tools available at the time. It could probably be done in about an hour today. :)
Smooth dance moves, Mordy. But what's up with the guy in the kitchen?
Very good memories - I worry about the dance skills you may pass on to your kids. :-)
Mordy, Photoshop CS6 revealed and not a twitter about Ai and InD. Are they dead? Like Flash - Gone?Any new developments? And why are we not hearing anything?
Gary.
Yeh does seem strange not to have seen sneak peeks of illustrator or indesign CS6 on youtube too.
I checked mordys blog and lynda updates to see if he had any news on Ai cs6 but its all about Ps it seems.
Can only assume they running behind or not much to show really compared with Photoshop.
I am assuming illustrator has a dark ui now too..
And hopefully better brush engine.. And bug fixes etc, to be honest illustrator needs it, could do with a major update. 3D, & perspective grid could be improved on for sure.
Adding an Isometric tool.. Symmetry mirror mode..yada yada.
Btway some content aware fill should be used on them dancemoves;)
I see that a new sneak peak on Illustrator has been released. Mordy, with your new responsibilities, will you find time to teach us everything we need to know about Illustrator CS6 when it's released? We need you!
