The Vector Conference comes to Miami!

The Vector Conference is coming to Miami in 2008 (as if you need another reason to visit Miami in February).

If you aren't already familiar with it, The Vector Conference is two wonderful days, overflowing with Illustrator and Flash content, geared towards designers. It's a great opportunity to learn to take advantage of the technology you already have, to mingle with like-minded professionals and peers, and to interact with people like myself, Sandee Cohen, David Blatner, Kacey Crouch, Chris Converse, Brian Wood, and more!

I'm honored to actually be the co-chair for this event, and will be giving four sessions covering the following topics:

- Creating and Using Flash with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Color Me Simple
- Designing for Mobile with Flash Lite
- Real World Illustrator Tips & Tricks

I'm most excited about the Color Me Simple session as I'll be doing a deep dive into the world of Live Color -- an Illustrator CS3 feature that many people have yet to fully grasp.

If you use more than just Illustrator in your day to day work, you'll also be happy to note that The InDesign Conference, The Pixel Conference (covering Photoshop of course), and The Conference for Adobe Acrobat will also be going on the same week. In fact, I'll be giving a session on Version Cue CS3 at the InDesign conference as well.

Here's a list of all of the sessions for the entire week.

If you're interested in coming to the conference, you can use the code MGIBMM08 (it's case sensitive) to get $100 off. You'll find registration information here. If you can't make it to Miami, the entire conference will be recorded on DVD, and will be available for purchase as well.

If you ARE planning on attending, please drop me an email and let me know -- I always love meeting with my readers!
