I wanted to call to your attention a couple of live over-the-internet eSeminars that will be taking place later this month. They are dubbed the Adobe Creative Suite 2 Expert Series and lo and behold, Adobe considers me an expert and has asked me to give one of these seminars on -- you guessed it -- Adobe Illustrator CS2. They've also asked David Blatner and Anne-Marie Concepcion to give eSeminars on the Creative Suite and InDesign, and I'm delighted to be included in their company.
I'm excited because it will give me a chance to demonstrate Illustrator to a large audience (even though I won't be able to "see" them). In any case, I haven't locked down what I'll be talking about yet, so if you have any requests, let me know asap and I'll see if I can work it in!

Well, I'll certainly be talking about Live Paint and Live Trace. Over the past few months, I've used them in some really cool ways and think it will help people learn how to use them for things they didn't first think about.
However, there's some room for tossing in some other goodies. I once gave an eSeminar on data-driven graphics, although the use was with GoLive at the time, and that functionality no longer works in the CS2 version. Using Style Sheets might make sense though -- that's a good request.
I wish I was a great Gradient Mesh artist, in the likes of Yukio Miyamoto. His example of creating beer bottles in AI in the Wow! book (and reprinted in mine) is sheer genius.
I'm thinking about tossing in a bit about Flash too... lots of people on the forums have been asking lately how to create URLs, etc.
