I can't even believe it!
Today, December 22, 2006, marks the one year anniversary of the Real World Illustrator blog!
Over the course of the year, I wrote approximately 150 posts comprising of over 55 thousand words. In addition, I've also kicked off PEN - The Vector Podcast, which I hope to expand upon in the future as well. And while I'm sure that I've been able to help at least a few folks over the year with Illustrator and related appliations, I want to express my own thanks and appreciation to all of you -- my readers. You provide me with the motivation to continue posting with your questions, comments, and support. As always, your suggestions and ideas for making this site better are always welcome!
With a new version of Illustrator coming sometime in the next year (Adobe says Springtime 2007), things certainly should be exciting and fun in the next few months. I invite all of you to share the next year with me, and want to thank you for all that you've done this year.

I just can't help myself, I live & breathe design, and all areas of proofing as well. Did you spell applications without the c on purpose to keep us readers on our toes? Or perhaps the omission was just a simple typo. Hmmm…
